本人从事生物质炼制清洁液体燃料方向研究，主要学术贡献包括：已成功开发了木质素为先的生物质炼制航空燃料等过程并完成中试示范、在J.Am.Chem.Soc、Biotechnology Advances、ACS Catalysis、Green Chemistry、Fuel、Energy & Fuels等SCI杂志上发表论文40余篇，申请多项中国及PCT专利，吸引了国际著名公司壳牌（Shell）、波音公司及荷兰BTG-BTL公司等的主动科技合作，建立了长期稳定的合作关系。曾获得全国优秀博士论文奖(2010年)、中国科学院卢嘉锡青年人才奖（2012年）、闵恩泽能源化工奖(木质纤维素炼制液体燃料及化学品，2017年)等省部级奖项。
